$tar Dollars is an online rewards system allowing staff to award points, called $tar dollars, to individual students, classes or groups of students. Students are then able to save these points and redeem against rewards that can be chosen from an online catalogue, called $tar Dollar Shop.
The use of the $tar Dollar system aims to boost student engagement in class as students strive to build their points. It also aims to improve our school culture by focussing on rewarding students for being SUPERRSTARS both in and out of the classroom which supports our Positive Behaviour Learning Framework. When students are seen by any staff member displaying SUPERRSTAR behaviour they can potentially earn points.
Students are able to access their profile from any web-connected computer either at school or at home by visiting www.vivoclass.com.au. Each student has their own login details so their points always stay safe and are ready to use when they want to redeem a ‘prize’ of their choice. Students can download the FREE handy VIVO Miles app to check their Vivo points balance and view their latest rewards. They are also able to order from the vShop through their app!
The school is also able to add prizes to the catalogue including vouchers to reduce the cost of Senior Jerseys, Formal and Mystery Tour for Year 12’s. There are also cards to allow the purchaser to go straight to the front of the line at the tuckshop for a term and another voucher for the purchaser and a friend to have morning tea with their favourite teacher or even the Principal.
